YOUR SUPPORT OPENS DOORS TO COLLEGE

Donate to Mentor Illinois to empower and connect high-achieving students from non-college and low-income backgrounds with mentors from great colleges in order to open college doors and create game-changing educational, work and life possibilities.

Just $1,250 is enough to support one mentor for one semester.

How Your Support Helps

Mentor Illinois is designed from the ground up to leverage the substantial human capital of Illinois' great colleges to provide precise and effective college application assistance to talented but low-income high school students.

For every $1,250 we raise, we are able to offer one high schooler, for an entire semester:

  • 3-4 hours per week of structured guidance on the college application process in general; OR

  • 1-2 hours per week of targeted college application assistance with key college application tasks such as test prep and essay writing.
