Mentor Illinois pays its mentors $1,250 for each semester that they provide high school students the personalized guidance they need to succeed.
By participating in federal work study programs, we're able to reduce the amount we pay each mentor out-of-pocket.
That means that every $1,250 we raise could pay 4 work-study-participating mentors for a semester's worth of work.
However, not all our mentors are able to take advantage of work study programs, meaning your support is even more needed than before.
